Sometimes the breakthrough isn't finding new information.

Sometimes it's finally identifying what the story is actually about.

I've spent days researching, writing, editing, and rewriting. But the biggest breakthrough wasn't another source, another quote, or another fact.

It was when I realized the story I thought I was writing wasn't the one that needed to be told.

Funny how that works.

The same is true in life. We often spend years searching for answers when the real challenge is asking the right question.
