Actually the Michigan Republican Party is so short of funds, they couldn't reimburse their delegates travel expenses to their State Convention! Their campaign coffers are also reportedly dry. Their delegates were charged a fee for attending. The new Chairperson was their Candidate for Secretary of State who campaigned on the slogan of "Getting the Satanic Forces out of demonic government!" No Kidding, she went over like a lead balloon! She lost like by 18% points! Now she is chairperson. Meanwhile most money and sane Republicans have either retired or joined in endorsing Democrats. 24 former Michigan Republican public officials wrote and signed a letter endorsing Gov. Whitmer. Everyone from Gov. Milliken's son to Gov Rick Snyder plus the previous Republican Attorney General, numerous former Republican Congressman and State lawmakers including C. John Upton and others. Meanwhile the so called grass roots are snarling online with things like "You can take my gun from my cold dead fingers!"

Well, our legislature just passed a law that they have to keep those guns locked up. Gov. Whitmer signed it this week!
