Agreed with everything you said. However the first sentence I don’t guess we line up. In a debate 2016 Donald Trump said “If you elect me you will have peace. If you elect her (HRC) you will have WW3.” He tends to speak in hyperbole and I wasn’t buying this one. Now I’m pretty certain he meant every word of it. Those were my innocent days before I truly understood how the world works.
As you are aware the West has been building up the Ukraine armed forces for no other reason but to confront Russia. Merkel said as much when she admitted the Minsk accords were for nothing more than to buy time so the Ukrainians could be powered up. Doesn’t matter now but I believe NATO would have kicked things off pretty soon had she (HRC) been elected.
The reason lies in the term UniPolar Order (US/EU). While this does mean one order however I think a better way to define it is ONLY Order. Meaning a uni polar system can not survive if there is any competition to its dominance. This had played out for many years right under my naive nose. Saddam, Gaddafi, etc all challengers to the US dominant system by playing with tangible asset backed currencies that would eventually challenge the West’s.
It has recently occurred to me that my country and the West have NEVER given away a dime to those in need. Everything thing they lend has major strings attached. Mess around and soon the US military will pay you a visit. All of those bases we have encircling the globe are not there to make sure there’s no bullies around. Instead they are a warning to all other nations fuck around and find out.
Everything the US does around foreign and domestic affairs is based on maintaining that uni polar hegemonic status. Sometimes it’s to make the US stronger than the competition but more often than not it’s to weaken the challenger through destabilization and other nefarious tricks.
These upper echelon families and groups have been the center of power for a very long time. They are not going to give that up willingly. That’s why I say Western Civ’s population needs to step up and cock block the politicians. That’s easier said than done as we discussed.
Another ray of potential hope: Both Russia & China are very clever and cunning. I am confident they know better than anyone what this is about. I suspect Russia’s greatest task at the present moment is to figure out a way to take them down without causing a world ending nuclear tantrum. Ditto that for the Chinese. The good news is both nations have risen above the US on many fronts. Not so much because they are better but because the US has sort of destabilized itself. Western elites are in a self inflated bubble protected by their like minded suck ups. The media does what they are told.
Alex Krainer is a good guy to read. Simplicius has quoted him before. He seems confident there are indeed some people in high places, military, and Intel trying to stop this from getting too far out of hand. I sure hope he’s correct.
