What bothers me is that they didn't have to win elections to still have the most dangerous levels of power on every level of politics. While the Democrats relied on passing legislation and persuading people to vote, like cockroaches the GQP crawled up from the trashcans of America through the back doors of power, and secured alliances everywhere, from school boards to mayoral offices to the US Supreme Court, and they included the internet, corporations, former military, social media, churches, and authoritarian leaders in foreign countries. How do they expect to undo all of this?
