Douglas Murray making important points that are simply not being made elsewhere in the mainstream. Worth a watch (it’s only 4 mins).

There are undoubtedly some people with extremely unpleasant views out there, a number of them were involved in what were at times openly bigoted instances of violent social disorder in recent weeks. But the attempt to label anyone who has concerns about islamism, jihadism, a dramatic uptick in antisemitism, unfettered mass migration, social cohesion issues, and so on as part of an indistinguishable mass of horrible fascist nutters (and the double standards and open censoriousness this is both built upon and gives rise to) is not only deeply dishonest but foolhardy and illiberal.

As Murray says in the clip:

‘[On immigration] the government keeps on refusing to do what the public keeps on asking for and what the government keeps on saying it will do…every time there’s a peaceful protest the peaceful protesters are defamed as far right…there definitely have been some extremely ugly people who’ve come out of the woodshed…but [there is] a desire to tar anyone who is wanting to make their voice heard as a violent neo Nazi [and there are enormous double standards around this]’
