Bill, it is troubling to me that many people want to hide our whole history which includes slavery and genocide. I don't feel guilty of that even though some of my ancestors were guilty. I am not responsible for their behavior. I am, however, responsible for trying to mitigate the outcomes of that behavior. I would suggest that a lot of the MAGAs who are bleating about guilt don't feel any and are full blown racists. Some of them know what the privilege provides even if they are not particularly worthy of certain jobs, respect, etc. I am not responsible for their racism; they are.
