David, like many of the readers here, I am a big fan of "Beau of the Fifth Column" YouTube channel. Beau refuses to endorse any candidate for any election, and has said that Biden is "not his man". That being said, he has made clips where he said pretty much what you posted, that being that change doesn't come in swoops but in slow progression.

He pointed out that if you want change, are you going to vote for the candidate most likely to listen to you, or the one that wants to regress?
