I think ego is not Biden's problem. I think he knows he works with a team, he's always encouraged a team approach, and he shown over and over that he has been willing to work together with and for all of us, even across the aisle. He uses the word "we" a lot when he talks. In contrast, the cocky, yet fragile ego of T is hopefully his own downfall. He has said basically, "only I can save you" to his base, when the opposite is true, only they can potentially save him from jail. He's not interested in saving anyone but himself.
