It’s a big topic of “Antifragility” (a great read btw, on how to design not just resilient, but antifragile systems, either human or technical)
Just like our parents let us “get hurt” so we understand on our own how we should and should not behave, Interventionism in a company can sometimes lead to hindered growth.
Even on ourselves, we should give ourselves the space to fail and fall and not intervene directly, so we can get up more ready
