When Trump first came on the scene, my husband loved him! Everytime I would say, "See what Trump just said or did?", he would spout off, "Get used to it!" The TV in his mancave stayed on FOX 24/7.

After many loud arguments, (he always said that I was scaring the dog), many long and heated debates,

many threats to leave because I was in a total state of anger and disillusionment, many insane statements by Trump, he finally came to the realization that Trump is a scoundrel, a criminal, and should never be the president of the United States.

We still discuss (more calmly) our

different beliefs on immigration, US

involvement in other countries, and

inclusion of all people

I'm surrounded by Trump lovers. If it had not been for Professor Richardson's letters and like-minded peoples' comments, the dog would no longer have heard me talking loudly. I would have had to leave.

What a mess this country's in.
