I grew up in Canada, lived in America, and now call the U.K. home. While I've been fortunate enough to avoid the worst impacts of bad government policies, I've watched them hurt people close to me who were poor or marginalised. My first real wake-up call about power and injustice came from seeing religious leaders abuse their authority while claiming to uphold high ideals. But I've seen the best of people too when systems, fears and insecurities haven't been pushing them in other directions.

I'd be happy to take part in a good natured interview. I've had someone else ask me about coming on their podcast recently, and expect to post a link to that if they decide to make it available, but of course there is so much to discuss, even if I'm not sure how entertaining I'll be.
