One of my first-ever published (albeit unpaid) articles was something about my dislike of the Park Slope Food Co-op, which I lived around the corner from and visited but was never a member of. It had zilch to do with the Middle East angle which had not yet (this was 2006-ish) materialized. This will not be one for the ‘topics where my views have changed’ pile.
