Fabulous! I am 89 and regularly leave phone calls with similar comments, including to Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer telling them to get a spine. Dems have totally failed us. Just let republicans roll over them with only harsh words. Few actions, yet Mitch McConnell knew how to obstruct, delay and fight. Even Tommy Tuberville stopped nominations almost a year.
Dems are too weak. They should have been prepared for this onslaught against democracy. They had Project 2025 almost 2 years, yet seemed totally unprepared. I say no more money to national Dems until they fight for us. Even my senators—Kaine and Warner. Are Dems complicit? Many voted for some of the horrible, unqualified Trump nominees. Why? Are they being paid off, too?
Jeffries said recently on X (Why don’t they all leave and go to Blue Sky?), “God is still on the throne.” If so, he ain’t here, bro! Jeffries is on the Dem House throne and not fighting hard enough.

So I watched Elon Musk on the Joe Rogan podcast call Social Security a giant Ponzi scheme. I paid into SS for 48 years and he’s got the god damn nerve to tell me I’m living too long! I say to him and all his billionaire buddies “PAY YOUR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES”. I say to CONGRESS “FIX SS BEFORE TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH”. It doesn’t take a high level of intelligence to recognize a problem and do the right things to fix it.
