ICE TEAR-GASSED U.S. SENATOR ANDY KIM OUTSIDE DELANEY HALL

Federal agents reportedly used tear gas and pepper spray outside Delaney Hall in New Jersey while Senator Andy Kim was there supporting hunger-striking detainees protesting spoiled food, no medical care, and extreme heat.

Kim struggled to breathe.

He injured his hand in the chaos.

That is what ICE brutality looks like when it no longer feels the need to hide.

A U.S. Senator was there.

Cameras were there.

Community members were there.

And federal agents still unleashed chemicals outside a detention facility where detained immigrants were already protesting inhumane conditions.

If ICE is willing to do this in public, in front of a U.S. Senator, imagine what hunger strikers and detained immigrants are facing behind closed doors.
