Make money doing the work you believe in

A fascinating new market is developing for buying and selling the codebases of failed startups.

Turing pay tens of thousands of dollars to buy the codebases of failed startups and then resells them at a profit to help train AI models.

Turing argues that codebases that were formerly used in production with real world, human users are more valuable than open source code given the complexities around privacy, monetization and intellectual property that companies historically kept private.

Something for founders / product leaders to think about: even if your product fails, your codebase may be an asset worth selling.
