That change in behavior is interesting by itself but what I think is really insightful is the shift from Slides to HTML / CSS / JS + Nano Banana and Veo.

The traditional presentation deck as we know it is dying; in its place as a modern comms document that can include pretty much whatever you want.

Google Slides could ultimately be replaced by experimental tools like Opal in the long run.
