Evangelicalism had way more fear baked into it than we realized—fear of “the world,” fear of getting it wrong, fear of hell.
So much of what we were taught—evangelism, behavior modification, even Bible study—wasn’t about encountering the beauty, peace, and radical love of God. It was about defending against an enemy.
We weren’t learning how to love—we were learning how to fight. And now, actual empathy gets treated as a threat.
It’s heartbreaking. But I think more people are starting to wake up to it.

Hey guys. Sorry if you got a notification I had a video up. I opened a blaster of illusions and I somehow recorded it in slow motion making an 8 minute video 49 mins. I feel dumb. I’ll post “my hits” as soon as my daughter wraps up her basketball season. They are currently 0-7. Will they win the final game? I’m taking action on the game now.
