Vajiralongkorn’s favourite concubine Major General Oranong Piyanatvajiraphat, age 32, will preside as representative of the king at a royal kathin ceremony at Wat Tha Sa Baeng, Roi Et province, on Sunday, November 10.

She will also visit a rice field at her mother’s house created to demonstrate the Khok Nong Na model, an agricultural method allegedly developed by the king to show rice farmers how to harness the “sufficiency economy” philosophy of his father Bhumibol.
