Your scholarly devotion has devolved into Internet trolling and insults. For someone who holds their own scholarship in such high regard, you lower yourself to cheap insults. The Founders' concern about the "rabble" lead them to form a representative democracy rather than a direct democracy. Does that mean they didn't trust the people? No. It meant they didn't trust the passions of the day, and wanted to slow things down with a more deliberative process. You're extremely proud of your ability to read, perhaps you're the one who should search out more facts and opinions before you spout. Then you might not be so certain that "experts" should rule over the rabble.
