Amen — MtnCharly — we’re pretty much on the same page. The knee-jerk reactions occur on a regular basis. Example of low-hanging fruit would be gun control regulations. Truth be told, there are hundreds of regulations and way too many of them are not enforced. So what do they do, create more regulations — rinse and repeat. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a pro-gun zealot by any stretch (quite the opposite) but creating new rather than enforcing existing is nonsensical to the core. There are many examples — truth be told, I’m betting we’ve both violated “regulations” many times throughout our lives doing lots of things without even knowing (LOL…need more coffee and I can circle back, but hopefully you get the gist).
