While it is true that the tyrants are the cause of the divisions in society, I agree with Ann22 that your reply hightlights the very thinking that the article deplores. I don't think that they spring from either lefties or socialists. It makes me wonder where you learned your understanding of socialism: Joe McCarthy? I think you mean totalitarianism, and that can come from either the right or the left.
