Hey Friends, I’m here of Substack, and here is why I decided to leave MSNBC and go 100% independent with all my content.

Substack Launch: Let's do this!

Contrary to what some in the far-right echo chamber have been saying this week, I have not been silenced. I’m right here folks. And I am ready to get started!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out with kindness and encouragement, both personally and in these social media streets. So very proud of The Reidout @joy.msnbc.com team, who are truly family, and all of our supporters & friends. See you tomorrow night at 7 ET, one more time ‼️

just getting started on substack, excited to be here and looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. more soon.

Trump is surrendering America. Trump is the opposite of strong. He is a tiny, weak, small, scared, trembling, sissy, husk of a man. There is nothing manly about his fat, sweaty, smelly, gross, makeup'ed self An absolute joke

Hi everyone, I have a request for you all.

Please follow my page as much as possible. I get my information directly from my CDC sources some were sadly fired last week, but others remain inside, risking everything to keep me informed about Bird Flu.

I report on Bird Flu, COVID-19, Tuberculosis, Measles, and other infectious diseases.

Stay informed and share for public health awareness.

On second thought… perhaps staying under the desk is best for now 🫶 #news

Important Message from Meidas Co-Founder

We are the Senate Democrats. And tonight, we’re going live with

as we work for the American people.

Senate Republicans are about to try to advance a budget resolution that clears the way to cut taxes for Trump’s billionaire buddies.

Democrats are going to expose how Republicans want to gut health care, jobs, public safety, housing, education, and national security.

World-class writing

It’s like they hate math.

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

I’ve lost about 1,000 subscribers since I said “Trump is a b*tch” in a post.

But I’ve also made over 3,000 new friends since I said it.

If you agree that Trump’s a b*tch, then subscribe.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Just posted something on how I’m thinking about the path before us. Looking forward to reading your thoughts and ideas.

  1. Wake up and don't look at your phone for 1 hour.

  2. Drink 3 litres of water every day.

  3. Do your most important task in the morning.

  4. Exercise at least 1 hour per day.

  5. Replace social media with knowledge books.

Full disclosure: feeling very burnt out tonight.

After 3+ months of reporting the news 24/7, I think it finally got to me a bit and put me in the not so greatest head space.

Cancelling our live tonight, and rescheduling it for tomorrow or Friday (TBD). Thank you all for your support and for the community we are building here. I will see you in the morning for a morning update.

Ten years ago I began warning my fellow liberals that many of their new hobbies--ironic misandry and performative social justice (as opposed to actual social justice)--would bring down their whole movement. If the online right keeps this up, they will fall as well. They're not owning the libs. They're handing back the power the libs cede…

The Online Right Is Building a Monster

It’s not possible to be an “LGBTQ person.” I’m gay. I’m not L or B or T or Q or I or A or 2Spirit+. I don’t lead with my gayness—like, ever. Gay is one of many things I am and not even close to the most important one. This business of power hungry activists and drama queens, throwing disparate groups of people together—then pressuring them all to pretend they have the same needs and wants…demanding they adhere to one set of political views…this is stupid and wrong. It’s “time’s up” for this bullshit.

Many people won't support a good idea if it comes from the right. Likewise, many won't support it if it comes from the left. But if it's a good idea...we should just be supporting good ideas. People spend so much time on grievances… if they spent half that time on solutions, maybe we'd get somewhere.
