Your “up-is-down” comment completely mischaracterizes my description. There’s plenty of room to find fault with the rhetoric of political intractability that House Democrats articulated, from before Trump was even president all through to his impeachment AND still see the behavior of the Senate Republicans as shameful. Both parties bear the blame for the general incivility of politics they have willingly embraced. But I stand by my contention that “by any means necessary” rhetoric is a disservice to fairness and perpetuates the belief some have that those using it care more about political ends than any just means to achieve it.
