I don’t super love that viral-esque newsletter on here offering a critique of Sabrina Carpenter through the lens of pedophilia culture, mostly because I struggle to criticize a woman for reclaiming & using the narratives society puts on her. She is a small woman who looks young—if she wants to lean into that image in a way that centers her own agency & desire in that dynamic & perception, that’s her prerogative. Because at the end of the day, she’s NOT a child, she’s a grown-ass woman & so much of sex & kink involves reclamation or of taking your trauma & making it hot. Idk, that’s just me!
