Make money doing the work you believe in

I think a big part of the allure of the deal for me—that is, the pretty planter at the thrift store, the nice shirt on the rack at the thrift store, the piece of furniture in good condition beside a dumpster, etc. that I may not have otherwise bought but can’t turn down—is that it relieves me of the burden of being the sole curator of my life. I feel refreshingly less responsible for making my life picture-perfect by scrolling through online stores, wandering through IKEA, searching for the thing that is just right.
