It’s 1994 and exactly 32 years ago today, The B-52’s entered the US dance charts with a song that would become one of their biggest club hits:

“Meet The Flintstones”

Yes, that Meet The Flintstones 😁

Most people probably see it as little more than a footnote in the band’s long and colorful career.

But on the dancefloor, it was a different story.

The B-52’s never quite managed to reach the top spot of the US dance charts, but they came remarkably close on two occasions:

“Summer Of Love” and “Meet The Flintstones”

Both peaked at #3.

Not bad at all for a song recorded for a movie soundtrack and largely forgotten today.
