As someone of indigenous heritage, I agree completely. I am disgusted with this pandering to indigenous communities. I am not even sure what "decolonization" is, or is supposed to be. I reject ANY advantage that being indigenous might confer on me.

Judge me and my fellow indigenous people fairly on our merit and contributions, and that alone.

Accept us as colleagues involved in this great collective enterprise of humanity, a pursuit of truth.

This is not rocket science.
