It’s my opinion that people vote for a candidate, sometimes against a candidate.

Trump is an odious person with unpopular (some are poisonous) goals and issues.

But he has a committed base, and with an electoral college disadvantage, Dem need at least a 4% advantage in the popular vote to get to 270.

Can a clearly diminished Biden, with better positions on the issues, and the negatives Trump brings achieve that?

I don’t know, but I don’t think so.
