Remember that both the Pfizer and Moderna vials have to be stored at VERY cold temperatures (like -20 to -70 degrees), so there is a good chance that by the time many people got their jabs, especially in outdoor lines in hot weather, that they probably got a "dud" (i.e., the mRNA went inert). In this case, getting a "dud" is a good thing. So those who have taken the jab and have not experienced any ill side effects yet, may have gotten lucky and escaped getting the poison.
