We have a booming economy for the wealthy and well off; seen the figures on the homeless and the poverty rates lately? Affordable health care? Surely you jest. We offer up bandaids for our aggressive political cancer, and think we’re accomplishing healing.

I’m not saying don’t vote, I’m saying on the federal level your vote matters little in a democratic sense. Actions outside the electoral process are the only thing that will save us now.
