I've noticed that Simplicius attracts some of the best as well as some of the worst followers. I get what you say about pandering to the lowest common denominator via referring to "the usual suspects". I've also heard "the usual suspects" used to refer to the wantonly bigoted anti semite crowd. The cat is out of the bag here anyway. Have you read the comments? Some of the best along with some of the worst. Simplicius knows how to attract a crowd, that much is certain.
