The media asking Zelenskyy if he wants to apologize to Trump is everything wrong with the media. They should be asking if Trump wants to apologize to Zelenskyy. Most Americans are humiliated at the trash behavior by Trump and JD in the Oval.
Did anyone else see the horrific display in the Oval Office last Friday as a ritual exercise in male domination? I don’t want to insult great apes, but I’ve seen similar performances at the zoo. Trump and Vance sought to humiliate Zelensky, treating him with the same disrespect they treat … well, women.

Trump and Vance beclowned themselves in their meeting with Zelenskyy. They came across as weak, petty little bullies. Zelenskyy’s position will now be strengthened around the globe while America continues to sink further and further into disrepute.

I encourage everyone interested in America’s place in the world to read this — extraordinary analysis and presentation of the facts. Also, I just donated to one of the charities he lists at the end. I think it would be a good idea for as many of as possible to do the same, send a powerful message that we, the American people, stand with Ukraine and democracy against Putin and tyranny.
Friends, you have no idea what it’s like to be Ukrainian at this moment.
We’ve been through much harder things over the last 3 years and 4 days. But this is still a punch to the stomach like few others.

Today was disgraceful. My head hangs low in embarrassment. Your president is the personification of strength and dignity. I long for the day when Americans can again be proud of our representatives. Your words give me courage to stand against this nightmare.
So Brian Glenn chastised President Zelenskyy for not wearing a suit in the Oval Office. Yet Musk (sans suit) was allowed to bring his nose picking toddler in there and no one on the right says a word about that being disrespectful??
I don’t have Twitter but if someone does and wants to tweet that at Glenn and Vance to shine a light on their hypocrisy, be my guest.
I’ll join you, DPJ, not being American (but European). I am outraged, I am furious at the arrogant and disrespectful would-be Czar and his toadies. Treating the President of Ukraine like a schoolboy – I admire Mr. Selensky for keeping his cool for so long – I would have lost my temper long ago. In my opinion, Mr. Selensky has emerged from this dispute as a winner in several respects. Bravo and my deepest respect to Mr. Selensky, long live Ukraine!
