Not only did romanticising iKasi destroy our youth’s mind, but it also destroyed ubuntu bethu as people of amakasana. These stories are far too common. That’s why I believe iKasi is using one of the smartest strategies to destroy young people. It wraps destruction in familiarity. It makes self-destruction look like belonging. It makes harmful behaviour feel like culture.
