Hello, friend-os! Well, it’s finally here — the political version of the Super Bowl, mashed up with the Academy Awards (back when they were still fun to watch), with a dash of Christmas morning for some extra spiciness. While things definitely still seem to be trending towards the GOP, take nothing for granted. Get out there and vote! If you need more information on where to vote, go here. If you need a ride to your polling station, there are some resources here.
In some personal news, I am going to start writing at RedState.com again! I used to write there back in 2017-2018 and am very excited to be back. Much like restarting this newsletter and podcast, I really want to amplify conservative voices going into 2024. There’s so much at stake; even if the GOP does well today, we can’t be assured that they’ll govern well. It’s up to us to hold them accountable, while also exposing the Dems as the bottom feeders that they are.
Sounds fun, right?
Get out and vote!!!!

PS - One final reminder:
Democracy is on the ballot today
I’ve been re-watching “The West Wing” in the past few weeks (I know, I know), and there’s one episode in the which the senior staff of the fictional President Bartlet pat each other on the back for getting their catchphrase of the news cycle repeated over and over by the media. Now, I’m too lazy to go back and find out what that phrase was, but it doesn’t really matter, does it? Because we see it day after day, with the Dems’ media lapdogs acting as de facto communications shops for the left.
Democracy.
That’s the Democrat buzzword during the closing weeks of the election. Britannica defines it as “literally, rule by the people.” I like Merriam-Webster’s definition: “the common people especially when constituting the source of political authority.”
If you’re like me, you’re thinking something along the lines of “what the hell do Democrats know about democracy"? Is it “democracy” when kids are kept out of school despite it being safe for them to go back? Is it “democracy” when those same kids are lagging behind in school and suffering with awful depression and anxiety because they were used as political pawns by teachers unions?
Is it “democracy” when George Soros-funded district attorneys fail to prosecute violent criminals and return them to the streets to hurt even more people? Is it “democracy” when families can’t afford gas for their cars due to the awful policies of one party?
No, it is not. And the Democrats know that full well. “Democracy” is a word most Americans revere — and we especially hold dear the ideas behind it. Of the people, by the people, for the people.
When it doesn’t suit their needs, Democrats go ahead and redefine words. They’ve done it with “marriage” and “recession.” They think we’re dumb enough not to know better.
I can just picture Nancy Pelosi, bottle of Boone’s Farm in one hand and phone in the other, calling her fellow Democrats and telling them their new definition of “democracy”: Anything that’s not good for the American people, as decided by Democrats and their radical base.
Her minions, in turn, pass this information along to the establishment media, who salivate in glee and trip over themselves to fall into line, blanketing the airwaves and the internet with the ultimate in misinformation. One MSNBC host even told his obedient audience that they must vote for Democrats this election or they’ll won’t have the chance in the future to vote out the Democrats.
Nah, let’s just save ourselves the trouble and vote them out today.
The Democrats always underestimate the American electorate. Poll after poll shows them losing support among women and minorities. Long-time Democrats are voting for Republicans because the economy is garbage, cities are hellscapes and our kids are struggling to play catch up in school.
We see through the phony championing of “democracy” by the left. We know better. We’ve watched them very closely these last two years.
We know the true meaning of democracy. Democracy is on the ballot today — and it means saving our institutions by voting Democrats out of office.

As a new subscriber my view is after the election and as they say: hindsight is 20/20. What happened? I think by now we all know what happened. Many things/people are to blame. I had to ask myself: are there that many dumb/foolish people that would vote in a zombie Fetterman or repeatedly elect far left loons over and over again? Are they so easily tricked? I just feel sad for our country. I am thankful that more and more conservative voices are speaking out and working to make a difference. You are one of them, Teri.
Thank you for making my day! I am so glad that you are back!
