The corruption in science journals and the peer review process has been known for decades. Many scientists laughingly call it the pal review process. Pro AGW climate science is rife with this practice.

I hope it's a good thing. But it could also mean the accountants at Pharma advertisers have gone into overdrive to find the products competing w/theirs... watch the advertisers... but I hope it's a good thing

I’m currently reading, Butchered by Healthcare. It’s one of many books that discusses capture of the medical journals by pharmaceutical companies. So sad. Glad they are retracting but it’s hard to undo the damage done once a fraudulent paper is published.

How can we ever trust anything concerning the medical complex from A to Z? It seems that the foundation for our medical system has been built on a steadily increasing mountain of lies for the last 30 years, at least.

We can hope that other journals and publishers will take note and also do a self audit to purge biased and abusive reviewers as well as deficient, faulty and fraudulent publications.
