Beverly Hills Cop was the movie I watched on the plane coming home from England in 1985. I was so happy to see it because it was so AMERICAN. I’m sure I’ll like Axel F, as well.

If Detroit looks different in Beverly Hills Cop AF than it did in the original, that’s probably because Detroit is different now, particularly Downtown. There’s probably more 4 and 5 star restaurants in downtown Detroit now than there were in Beverly Hills in the 80s. Construction is starting on a new 500 room hotel on the riverfront. It’s not your 80s Detroit any more. Y’all should do a live show here some time, see how the city looks off the screen.
