I'd like to hear the wisdom from this assembly of sages about how Apple has been so compromised in China, as per the New York Times story. The government effectively runs Apple's data centers in China, which I assume gives the Chinese access to Apple's global networks. It seems to me that all of America's technology companies, that have participated in China's technological progress, are at risk of being subverted electronically and turned into avenues of Beijing's influence. I suspect pressures are going to build on them to shift their strategies in China, and the Chinese won't like that. Thoughts?
