The US senate is democratic. In Australia we have a similar system with states. It’s just a federal system. Just as equally representative democracy can be argued as undemocratic as the people who didn’t vote for their representative then have no power. Really only Athens was democratic minus the women. So even Athens wasn’t “democratic”. Maybe Switzerland? But then my wife remembers some parts only allowed women to vote in our lifetimes.
