A journalist in Palestine was interviewing people in a hospital and I listened to a random civilian woman sternly instruct her young sons (after scrambling for cover from an air raid) “your brother is a martyr. Don’t cry.” These children are trained from birth to welcome being martyred in the quest to kill Jews. Native Americans love(d) their children far too much to spend a century doing nothing but banging on about “killing the colonizers”. The Palestinians seem to largely support Hamas. The Hamas charter has never been a secret.
