The worst part is that their answer to all that lack of choice is, invariably, more rules, more "leadership", and more policing. They think obedience is free and they're entitled to all they can eat. They have no interest in collapsing "order" because their claims to social and private property and the superiority they believe inheres in them would also collapse. They are scared to death of a level playing field and need "order" to protect them.
