Based on FT’s reporting, Liu’s son was much more restrained in his business dealings vs. son of Wen JiaBao and Liu Yunshan, son in law of Wu Banguo, grandson of Jiang Zemin, or various white gloves operators of Zeng Qinghong and other Politburo standing committee members. Doesn’t change the fact all these are result of centralized power structure, but perhaps it’s a bit progress vs. the previous administration
