As a brown[ish] heterosexual myself, I can tell you that Karen-from-HR is far more predisposed towards homosexuals than she is towards coloured folk... and as COVID showed us, Karen-from-HR now runs the world (in the sense that she determines which proles remain employed: she doesn't determine policy).

Karen-from-HR is the archetype of the C-student who is absolutely certain that the thing about which she is currently infatuated, is the Most Important Thing Ever. As such (her logic proceeds) dissent is not only evidence of non-conformity, it is evidence of Sin and muct be crushed.
