I have been reading a lot out there on yearly mammo's and there is more coming out that it's totally unnecessary for anyone without a family history or a history of cancer yet we are told we must get one every year no matter what. It's a huge cash cow and the medical industrial complex makes even more money if you get an abnormal reading as this sets off an entire series of expensive tests and diagnostics (see my comment on this in this thread). More is coming out that most low grade breast cancers never needed radiation or chemo, that many cancers are so slow growing that treating them is pointless. You'll outlive it, basically. Yet, women are being told they have to get chemo or they'll die so they go through chemo which makes them far sicker than a non-spreading cancer ever would. Meanwhile, the medical industrial complex makes lots and lots of $$
