Couldn’t agree with you more. I tend to beat on the same drum about these themes.I retired from the east coast and traded 6 months of winter (NH) for 6 months of summer (AZ). What I see here is that every financial shortfall suffered by the state is rectified by slashing public education funding ( which is pathetically ranked 49th in the nation)- except for ‘school voucher’ programs which are sacrosanct. The result- which should be obvious- is the degrading and gutting of public education, which only seems to result in an uneducated, uninformed and selfish view from the emerging electorate.
