At a meeting called, "National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine," held in April, 2020, where the subject was, "Rapid Expert Consultation on the Possibility of Bioaerosol Spread of SARS-CoV-2 for the COVID-19 Pandemic," one of the scientists--and I would have to look up the proceeding to get his name--actually stated flatly that they should NOT run any mask RCTs, because they never show what they want them to show, and that would "give the public the wrong message" or some such B.S.
