I think maybe the decision of "normie" voters in 2026 will be governed by how angry they are at the Republican Congress by that time and less about Trump. There are really only a handful of truly competitive seats held by Republicans and Democrats need to relentlessly tie them to the bad policies they are angry about even more than Trump.
