It’s fun to watch JD Vance stand up every 30 seconds or so and applaud like a trained chimp. He’s not terribly smart, but he is very nimble! But if anyone’s seen Vance’s soul, please report it to the lost’and’found. He needs something to resell after already selling his ass to Trump/Peter Thiel.
I do feel sorry for Elon, though, having to sit through this boring speech. He could be doing something more useful right now, like firing more food safety inspectors or siring more illegitimate children. What a waste.

Pausing the U.S-Ukraine intelligence exchange is an enormous mistake and incredibly harmful to US interests. The U.S. benefits as much if not more from this intel exchange. Any one who’s touched the U.S.-Ukraine inteI sharing relationship will tell you that Ukraine has proven to be enormously consequential in helping us understand Russia. No other relationship comes even close.

Ever wonder why your uncle who barely finished high school and lives alone in the woods is suddenly an expert on global politics? Blame social media. It screws with vulnerable people—those with less education or who are socially isolated. Social media is highly predatory.
Limited media literacy: People with less education don’t always have the best BS detectors. They see “Aliens Built the Pyramids” and go, “Huh, that makes sense.” Social media’s a minefield for them—crap everywhere and no shovel.
