I am 70. The defining conflict of my youth was Vietnam. My father and many of my friends were forever changed—and not for the better—by their participation. Learning about the duplicity of our government in Vietnam prepared me to question everything. I wish I could say the same for many of my peers, who (despite decades of experience with our so-called leaders lying us into war) seem to cling to the propaganda disseminated by liberal media. I don’t get it. You know they lied us into Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, you know about all the regime-change dirty wars we’ve funded, you’re at least minimally aware that we’ve trained terrorists for decades (see U.S. Army School of the Americas if you don’t believe me), but STILL you buy the bullshit. Russia is a threat, Palestinians are terrorists, Israel is our greatest ally, blah blah blah. It’s so sickening.
