Notes

I watched Zardoz (1974). My thoughts were as follows:

- It's a very strange, art house, indulgent movie on the part of the director. I applaud this.

- The woman who played Consuela was 10/10 beautiful, my tongue was wagging: flashbak.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10…

- Sean Connery wearing his costume was lol, I’m surprised he agreed to wear it: flashbak.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10…

- The film was recommended to me as a "dissident" film, I guess because a barbarian destroys a safe space full of rich entitled people and smashes their fake God, and by highlighting that there's no human meaning without suffering and death. However, I think the film is too eccentric and eclectic to qualify on this basis.

- The film editing and script were not polished enough; the cuts and dialogue were abrupt.

Overall it was OK, it's nice to see films that are quirky and unique, but I think the message was too sloppy and muddled.

7/10
