BRICS is not a military alliance. Besides, Syria isn't some kind of final decisive victory.

The real game is economic growth. Syria makes no difference for that. The true goal is for the West to have a secure supply line with which to attack Iran, or at least credibly threaten to do so. There is no guarantee that the West will be successful in conquering Iran.
